I am doing a research project with a GI pathology
attending from Turkey who is hilarious - his character
reminds me of someone from the Eastern block - dry,
dead-pan, cynical, going about his work while making
remarks under his breath.  Yesterday at the end of our
slide viewing session I handed him an article I read
on reading a duodenal biopsy and he made a copy of it,
and said (again completely dead-pan) "Thank you. Last
time I read journal article was during Carter
administration."
